The 2022 update of the Stanford researchers ranking (led by John Ioannidis), places (again) Gr@v researchers C. Herdeiro and E. Radu in the top 2% of their field worldwide, for both their career and the year of 2021. For the latter, P. Cunha and former member N. Sanchis-Gual also enter the top 2% in their field. C.
Eugen Radu, a research fellow at U. Aveiro since 2013, became a staff member under a tenured (assistant) researcher position. Dr. Radu has given a central contribution to the development of the Gr@v group over the last decade and his permanent hiring is an important step towards the consollidation of the group.
The VII Scalar Field Dark Matter Workshop, organzied by the Mexican Strong Gravity community will take place in León, Guanajuato, México, and online, on the 27-28 October 2022. C. Herdeiro is one of the invited speakers.
The Beyond the Standard Model BrainStorming Meeting, BSM2, will take place at Aveiro University, hosted by the gr@v group, from 10-14 October 2022.
Our collaborator Kunihito Uzawa from Japan together with Zakaria Belkhadria, a Ph.D. student from U. Cagliari, Italy, are our guests this week. Zakaria is visiting us within a short term scientific mission of the COST action CA18108.
The 3rd Workshop on Compact Objects, Gravitational Waves and Deep Learning will take place on 23 Sep 2022 at the University of Minho, after the first and second workshops of this series in Aveiro and Valencia, repectively.
Our group collaborated with the Escola de Verão de Astronomia, of Instituto Superior Técnico, targeting high school students, with a lecture by C. Herdeiro on Cosmology (9 Set 2022).

Gr@v members A. Morais, J. Pino and V. Vatellis represented the group at the Workshop on Multi-Higgs models, in Lisbon, delivering talks about their work. Long term collaborator R. Pasechnik, from Lund University, also joins for the picture.
The XV Black Holes Workshop will take place at ISCTE, University Institute of Lisbon, on 19-20 December 2022. Registration opens on September 19th.
