My research interests are in Particles Physics models beyond the Standard Model and on its phenomenological and cosmological implications. I am particularly interested in understanding the origin of the gauge interactions and the family replication found in nature based on first principles. Since 2015 I have been strongly involved in the development of a model inspired by the E8 exceptional group that promotes the family structure to a gauge interaction and attempts to unify it with the strong and electroweak forces. In this context the E8 symmetry can be seen as a unifying force. The large unifying structure implies that the model will have a rich low-scale phenomenology including additional Higgs and gauge bosons as well as vector-like fermions. I am particularly interested in understanding the implications of this model for collider phenomenology, the electroweak phase transition, primordial Gravitational Waves, dark matter and neutrino physics.
