Personal profile: I am a theoretical physicist interested in general relativity and especially in the environment of accreting black holes and other compact objects. I am a member of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration and one of the main developers and maintainers of the Black Hole Accretion Code (BHAC, https://bhac.science), which performs general relativistic magnetohydrodynamic simulations in arbitrary stationary space-times using a variety of advanced techniques including adaptive mesh refinement (AMR).
2019-2023, NOVA-VIA Postdoctoral fellow, Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands
2019, PhD. in Physics - Goethe Universität, Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Thesis - Advanced techniques in the simulation of relativistic accretion flows onto compact objects
Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Luciano Rezzolla
2015, MSc. in Physics - CINVESTAV, Mexico City, Mexico
2012, BSc. in Physics - Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa, Mexico
