Hawking radiation for Proca field

Abstract: Recently we have investigated the wave equation of a massive vector boson, which is governed by Proca field, in the D-dimensional Schwarzschild background. Because the mass term introduce a coupling between two physical degrees of freedom, we have to solve s set of coupled ordinary differential equations. Generally speaking, the solutions for such case can only be obtained numerically. So we construct a numerical strategy to sovle the scattering problem for Proca field, and determine the corresponding Hawking radiation spectrum. I will show some results of the effects of dimension, mass on the greybody factor and the Hawking spectrum. Finally I will show some new results for charged Proca field propogate on the brane of the higher dimensional charged black hole, and address some problems I faced.
