CQG focus issue on hairy BHs

The awakening of the gravitational astronomy era, together with the ever increasing precision of electromagnetic observations, motivates scrutinizing models of alternative compact objects and their phenomenology. As a contribution to this effort, Gr@v researchers will be guest editors of a Focus issue of Classical and Quantum gravity on hairy black holes.

Mengjie Wang's PhD exam

Gr@v's Ph.D. student Mengjie Wang successfully defended his doctoral thesis with title "Quantum and classical aspects of scalar and vector fields around black holes", on February 29th 2016. Mengjie integrated the MAP-Fis Ph.D. programme and was supported by a grant from the IDPASC doctoral programme. Congratulations Mengjie!
