O XXVI Encontro Nacional de Astronomia e Astrofísica (ENAA) terá lugar na Universidade de Aveiro, nos dias 8 e 9 de Setembro de 2016. Esta edição da conferência é organizada pelo Departemento de Física da Universidade de Aveiro e pelo Centro de Investigação e Desenvolvimento em Matemática e Aplicações (CIDMA), em colaboração com a Sociedade Portuguesa de Astronomia (SPA).
No seguimento de anos anteriores, o objectivo deste encontro é apresentar um panorama da atividades de vanguarda, a nível internacional, em investigação e desenvolvimento tecnológico na área de astronomia e astrofísica. O ENAA proporciona também uma ocasião para debater ideias e políticas científicas, para fortalecer as interações entre os membros da comunidade portuguesa de astronomia e astrofísica, e para integrar jovens investigadores nessa mesma comunidade, nomeadamente através da apresentação dos seus trabalhos.
The XXVI National Meeting of Astronomy and Astrophysics will take place at the University of Aveiro, on the 8th and 9th September 2016. This meeting is organized by the Department of Physics of the University of Aveiro and the Center for Research and Development in Mathematics and Applications (CIDMA), in partnership with the Portuguese Astronomy Society (SPA).
As in previous years, the main goal of this national meeting is to present a general overview of the international state of the art research done in Astronomy and Astrophysics. ENAA also allows for researchers to get together and discuss scientific ideas and policies, strengthen the collaboration between national researchers and integrate young researchers in the community through the presentation of their work.
