The IX Iberian Cosmology Meeting will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, at the Physics Department of the University of Aveiro, from the 28th to the 30th of April 2014. This series of meetings is aimed at encouraging the interaction and collaboration between researchers working in Cosmology and related areas (Gravitation, Particle Physics and Astronomy) in Portugal and Spain. Researchers working in other countries will also be most welcome.

The meetings are informal and there is no registration fee. There will be 3 invited plenary speakers and all participants wishing to give a talk about their work will be able to do so by naming a topic or title when they register, and submitting their abstract by the 5th of April 2014. Should there be excessive demand, preference will be given to younger researchers.

Except for plenary talks, all participants will be given 15+5 minutes to present their work. In addition, there may also be time for guided discussions, particularly if there are several requests for talks on a common ‘hot’ topic.

These meetings are designed to encourage the presentation of work in progress. In this same spirit the meetings will not be restricted to a single focused topic, but are open to cosmologists in the broadest sense, from theoretical particle physics to observational astrophysics. Stimulating interactions between theorists and observers is also a particular concern of the organizers.
