Research

My main research interests are related to particle physics beyond the Standard Model and its relation to gravitational physics. I am particularly interested in models involving supersymmetry and extra-dimensions, namely in the context of string/M-theory. In my research, I am interested in finding new solutions to the several open problems in particle and gravitational physics and in looking for novel experimental/observational signatures. New physical effects, especially in string theory compactifications, may arise at very different energy scales, so my research covers a broad range of topics in cosmology (inflation, baryogenesis, dark matter/energy, string and brane cosmology), black hole physics (superradiance and ultra-light fields, higher-dimensional black holes, information paradox) and LHC phenomenology (string resonances).
